hart ms

Managed services (databases and more): list, create, rotate, delete

Generated from cmd/hart at v1.5.0

Managed services of the team. A service is named by its id or, when the name is unique, by its name. Services that belong to a landscape's harthelm.yml are changed there and with hart sync.

hart ms [flags]
hart ms [command]

Aliases: ms, managed-service.

Subcommands:

hart ms create

Creates a service of a provider in the team's catalog (the console's Data services lists them). The secrets the provider requires are generated and shown once at the end: store them where you need them, they cannot be read again (hart ms rotate sets new ones).

hart ms create PROVIDER [flags]

Examples:

hart ms create postgres --plan tiny
hart ms create postgres --name shop-db --resource storage=20Gi --resource memory=2048MiB
hart ms create s3 --name assets --config publicBuckets=assets --config buckets=assets --public
FlagDescription
--config stringArraya setting, KEY=VALUE; the value is JSON when it parses as JSON (repeatable)
--name stringthe service's name (default: the provider's name)
--no-backupsdo not dump the service nightly
--plan stringthe provider's plan id (default: the provider's default plan)
--publicserve the store's own host ms-<n> without sign-in (S3 only): its public buckets are readable by anyone
--resource stringArraya resource of the plan to size differently, NAME=VALUE; memory and storage take 2048, 2048Mi, 2048MiB or 2Gi, a bare number is MiB (repeatable)
--version stringthe provider version (default: the newest)

hart ms delete

Deletes the service and its data for good (the last nightly dump is the only copy). Type the service's name to confirm, or pass --yes. A service of a landscape is removed from harthelm.yml instead.

hart ms delete SERVICE [flags]
FlagDescription
-y, --yesdo not ask for the name

hart ms list

List the team's managed services

hart ms list [flags]
FlagDescription
--bound-to intonly the services of this workspace's landscape
--deletedinclude the recently deleted services

hart ms rotate

Replaces the named secrets: --generate lets the server make a new value, --set asks for one (without echo on a terminal, one line of stdin per --set otherwise). Values are never shown. The provider needs the rotate capability.

hart ms rotate SERVICE [flags]

Examples:

hart ms rotate shop-db --generate password
FlagDescription
--generate stringArraya secret to give a new generated value (repeatable)
--set stringArraya secret to give a value you type or pipe in (repeatable)
